WILDLIFE PAINTINGS BY FRANS MULDER (pictured right)
Huge, exciting wildlife paintings and smaller artist’s prints by this renowned artist will be on display at The Stables, Kleine Maastrom (near the entrance to Bedford). You've probably already seen some of Frans's striking work in several of the Eastern Cape's blue chip game lodges. There will also be an exhibition of portraits by Frans and photographer Stefan Coetser. Opening times to be announced.
SCARECROWS
Popping up all over the village and waiting to surprise you on the garden routes, Bedford’s famous scarecrows are increasing and multiplying every year. Some are made by school children, others by gardeners. Look for a whole new generation of fun characters in 2010.
